HopeWorks… making a difference in the lives of
North Texans with breast cancer – today.

Celebrating our eighth tournament – thanks to you!

We are moving drive Tourney back to the Fall! Thank you to everyone who participated in our Spring 2009 drive Tourney. With the tournament in the Spring, we organized an new event last with the help of Jeanie Almond and Elm Fork Shooting Sports. Save the Boob – Shoot a Clay went well this inaugural year and we raised just over $3000.

With the generous contributions of our players, volunteers and sponsors, HopeWorks’ 2009 drive: Annual Tourney for the Difference raised over $10,000 for uninsured and underinsured breast cancer patients – bringing our seven year total to $98,000. Because of your support over the past eight years, HopeWorks has contributed thousands of dollars to various organizations (Bridge Breast Network, Asian Breast Health Outreach Project, Richardson Regional Medical Center and the YWCA of Greater Dallas). And we have continued to work closely with the Patient Advocacy Foundation when they have patients with needs in Texas. We provide monies for treatment assistance, and in many cases, basic daily needs such as rental assistance and help with electricity payments. Many of the people we help do not have disability insurance. Once they exhaust their allotted sick days – if they have that benefit – there is no paid time-off for any additional days they may need to recover from surgery, or a chemo treatment. HopeWorks – and you - steps in and helps

With your participation, HopeWorks will continue to the better the lives of those suffering from the effects of breast cancer – today.
